VIS in the ITI 7th International Conference on Information and Communications Technology

VIS has been the theme sponsor for the ITI 7thInternational Conference on Information and Communications Technology (ICICT 2009), taking place in Smart Village, Cairo, Egypt from the 14th to the 16th of December.

The conference, entitled “Human Capital Development for Progress” was under the auspices of the Minister of Communications and Information Technology, Dr. Tarek Kamel.

It aimed at expanding the interest circle as well as shedding more light on the efforts exerted for developing human resources on all levels. The purpose of such efforts was to raise the competitive edge of the Egyptian workforce in the international employment market in different fields.

In the Conference, VIS has shared a panel entitled “Egypt: The New Top Emerging Destination of Outsourcing & Offshoring” with ITIDA, Xceed, Oracle, EMC², IBM, Orange R&D Labs and Microsoft. In that panel, VIS mainly talked about  how it operates through its four pillars of excellence, sharing its history and services provided.
